Tetrahydrozoline 0.05% w/v is used to temporarily alleviate eye discomfort and redness caused by minor eye irritations. It can be used alone or in combination with other eye lubricants and anti-irritants. Tetrahydrozoline is a sympathomimetic agent with alpha-adrenergic activity. Its vasoconstrictive effect helps reduce redness and swelling in allergic conjunctivitis. It has a rapid onset of action and its effects can last for 4 to 8 hours.

Tetryzoline is also indicated for the temporary relief of eye discomfort and redness due to minor eye irritations, either on its own or in combination with other eye lubricants and anti-irritants. This product is particularly suitable for mild eye irritations.
